EngineAI Unveils T800 Humanoid Robot, Setting New Industry Standards
EngineAI has officially launched its latest humanoid robot, the T800, which aims to redefine industry standards in robotics. Unveiled on December 2, 2025, in New York, the T800 represents a significant advancement in the commercialization of general-purpose humanoid robots. Following the successful launches of the SE01, which achieved the world’s first natural gait, and the PM01, which executed the first humanoid robot front flip, EngineAI continues to push the boundaries of embodied intelligence.
The T800 has undergone three redesigns under the guidance of CEO Zhao Tongyang and the efforts of over 150 research and development engineers. Priced starting at 180,000 yuan, the T800 is not only a full-size, ultra-efficient humanoid robot but also comes with a tiered product lineup. This includes base, ecosystem (open-source), sharpened (Pro), and flagship (Max) versions, each tailored to meet various operational needs.
Breakthrough in Humanoid Robotics
The launch of the T800 marks a critical transition from a “technically viable” prototype to a “market-ready” product, opening up new possibilities for large-scale industrial deployment. EngineAI’s development emphasizes the integration of power performance with biomimetic aesthetics, creating a versatile intelligent carrier capable of functioning in complex environments.
Engineered with ergonomic principles, the T800 is designed for the average adult height of 1.73 meters and weighs approximately 75 kilograms. This human-like form enhances its appeal while ensuring practicality in industrial collaboration and service scenarios. The robot’s body is constructed from aerospace-grade aluminum alloy, which is both lightweight and structurally stable. This design choice contributes to its durability, offering high resistance to impact and weather conditions.
The T800 features a range of innovative technologies, including a dynamic interactive light strip that communicates device status through color and flashing patterns. This enhances human-robot interaction, making collaboration more intuitive. Its biomimetic foot design incorporates shock-absorbing materials, ensuring stability across diverse flooring conditions.
Advanced Technology and Production Capabilities
At the heart of the T800’s capabilities is EngineAI’s proprietary full-stack core technology. The robot’s joint system delivers a peak torque of 450 N·m, enabling explosive power and adaptability in high-impact scenarios. Its multi-degree-of-freedom joints provide a level of flexibility that is crucial for various industrial applications.
EngineAI has integrated its micro-joint electromechanical technology with a 360-degree LiDAR system, allowing for real-time environmental modeling and intelligent path planning. This feature enables the T800 to navigate complex environments with precision, avoiding obstacles effectively.
Additionally, the T800 is equipped with a fully self-developed, multi-dimensional dexterous hand that mimics human hand movements. This allows the robot to perform both heavy-duty tasks and intricate operations, showcasing its versatility across different scenarios.
To ensure reliable performance, the T800 is powered by an industry-first high-performance solid-state battery, capable of sustaining operations for 4-5 hours. The robot also incorporates an active cooling system to manage its temperature during prolonged use, which is essential for maintaining performance in various environments.
The launch of the T800 signifies more than just a technological milestone; it highlights EngineAI’s commitment to advancing its manufacturing capabilities. The company plans to leverage its high-end manufacturing ecosystem to enable mass production, facilitating the T800’s deployment across multiple industries.
EngineAI’s philosophy emphasizes quality and excellence in its product development. Under Zhao Tongyang‘s leadership, the company has emerged as a pioneer in the humanoid robotics sector. The T800 is positioned to redefine the landscape of robotics, moving beyond the limitations of earlier models and offering a viable solution for industrial productivity.
As EngineAI continues to innovate, the future looks promising for humanoid robotics. The T800 not only showcases the company’s technical prowess but also lays the groundwork for the large-scale commercialization of humanoid robots, paving the way for advancements in artificial intelligence and automation across diverse sectors.
