Sparks Overcome Storm with Late Surge for 91-85 Victory

The Los Angeles Sparks mounted a thrilling comeback to defeat the Seattle Storm 91-85 on March 25, 2024. The Sparks secured the victory with a strong performance in the closing minutes, rallying from a five-point deficit to pull closer in the playoff race.

Rickea Jackson contributed significantly with 23 points, while Kelsey Plum and Rae Burrell added 14 and 11 points, respectively. The victory improved Los Angeles’ record to 19 wins and 20 losses, bringing them within 1.5 games of the Storm and Indiana for the final two playoff spots.
As the game neared its conclusion, Seattle held an 85-80 lead with just 2:47 left on the clock. Hamby, however, ignited an 11-0 run by scoring five points, while Jackson tallied four, allowing the Sparks to clinch the win. Seattle struggled in the final moments, missing their last five shots.
