Two Track Campers Launches ActionCamper X4 for Jeep Wrangler

The newly unveiled ActionCamper X4 by Two Track Campers aims to transform the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited into a versatile adventure vehicle suitable for off-road excursions. Designed specifically for overlanding, extended expeditions, and weekend getaways, this pop-top camper integrates seamlessly with the Jeep’s existing structure, replacing the factory-fitted hard top.
Two Track Campers collaborated with Colorado Camper Van and industry veteran Luke Burgess to bring this innovative design to life. The ActionCamper X4 is built to cater to four people, making it an ideal choice for families or small groups seeking adventure. This latest model is based on the original Action Camper design, which was never brought to market, but has now been reimagined for today’s outdoor enthusiasts.
Innovative Design and Features
The X4 features a sturdy fiberglass body that ensures durability and all-weather safety. It is specifically crafted to fit the JK and JL Jeep models, maintaining the vehicle’s original aesthetic while enhancing its functionality. The camper mounts onto the main roll bar at the front and the fender rails at the rear, adding only 7 inches to the vehicle’s profile. This low-profile design does not compromise the Jeep’s mileage or parking convenience.
Among its standout features is a pop-up roof made from nylon canvas, equipped with three tri-layer windows that include bug screens. This design allows for ample light and ventilation, enhancing the camping experience. The roof can be accessed from both the driver’s compartment and the rear cargo area, and it includes honeycomb insulation, along with the option to install 100W solar panels for energy self-sufficiency.
Comfort and Pricing
The interior of the ActionCamper X4 is thoughtfully designed to maximize comfort and utility. Below the queen-size bed, which converts into a daytime seating area, there are various compartments for dining, cooking, and storage. Additionally, a convertible bench in the rear can accommodate two more people, making it a flexible sleeping arrangement for up to four occupants.
With a starting price of $10,000, the X4 includes a padded mattress as part of the base package. Solar installation and other enhancements will be available as optional upgrades. This pricing positions the ActionCamper X4 as an accessible choice for those looking to elevate their Jeep Wrangler into a capable motorhome.
The ActionCamper X4 represents a growing trend in the outdoor recreation market, where versatility and comfort are increasingly sought after by adventurers. With the ability to navigate remote areas via two-track roads, this innovative camper is set to redefine the way people experience camping in rugged terrains.
