TomorrowHead Studio Reveals New Trailer for WILL: Follow The Light

Independent developer TomorrowHead Studio has introduced a new gameplay trailer for its upcoming narrative puzzle adventure, WILL: Follow The Light. The trailer was showcased during the Future Games Show Live at Gamescom 2025, providing a glimpse into the immersive experience that awaits players.
Developed using Unreal Engine 5, WILL: Follow The Light invites players into a beautifully rendered world characterized by exploration, storytelling, and intricate environmental puzzles. The game is set against the dramatic backdrop of the far north, where players embark on a journey as a father searching for his missing son. This quest unfolds through harsh storms, icy landscapes, and ancient ruins that hold pieces of the past, allowing players to uncover the poignant narrative.
Gameplay Features and Invitation to Playtest
The new trailer highlights striking environments and introduces fresh traversal mechanics, enhancing the interactive challenges that define the gameplay. The combination of an emotional storyline and engaging puzzles aims to create a memorable experience for players.
In conjunction with the trailer, TomorrowHead Studio announced that closed playtests will commence later this year, with sign-ups now open. This initiative allows players to gain early access to specific sections of the game, enabling them to explore its world and provide invaluable feedback to the development team.
“We’ve been blown away by the support since our gameplay reveal in March,” said Roman Novikov, Founder and Game Director at TomorrowHead Studio. “Now we’re excited to take the next step — opening the doors for players to join us in testing key parts of the experience and help shape the journey ahead.”
With its haunting setting and emphasis on emotional storytelling, WILL: Follow The Light is poised to be a notable entry in the narrative-driven adventure genre. As anticipation builds for its release, the opportunity for players to engage in early testing presents an exciting prospect for both the studio and its audience.
