Google Launches September Update for Pixel 10 Series, Fixes Bugs
Google has initiated the rollout of a new Android update for its Pixel 10 series, which includes the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL. This latest update, released in September 2025, addresses critical bugs and aims to enhance the overall performance and stability of these devices.
Details of the September 2025 Update
This update follows a previous substantial quarterly update that was made available two weeks ago, which also included security patches for the Pixel devices. That update elevated all eligible phones to the September 2025 Android security patch level and introduced several features. However, the Pixel 10 series was already equipped with those features upon launch.
The recent security update was designed to improve system stability and performance, rectifying issues related to transitions and the power key. A range of additional instability problems were also resolved. The new update, labeled BD3A.250721.001.E1, is relatively small, at just 31MB, and focuses primarily on critical bug fixes.
According to Google’s announcement, this update “fixes critical bugs and improves the performance and stability of your device.” Unfortunately, specific details regarding the bugs addressed have not been disclosed.
Addressing Display Issues
One notable fix highlighted by Verizon pertains to a “fuzzy display” issue that some users experienced. This problem, which caused a snowstorm effect on the screen, had been a source of frustration for many Pixel 10 users. The resolution of this display glitch signifies Google’s commitment to enhancing user experience on its devices.
Currently, this update is exclusively rolling out to the Pixel 10 series. As of now, no additional information has been shared regarding updates for other Pixel devices. Users can expect a smoother experience following the installation of this latest update, which is part of Google’s ongoing effort to maintain the functionality and reliability of its smartphone offerings.
