Amazon Launches Bargain-Focused ‘Haul’ Section in Canada
Amazon has introduced its budget-oriented “Haul” section in Canada, exclusively available in the beta phase on the Amazon mobile app for both Android and iOS users. This new feature focuses on products priced at $25 or under, offering a diverse range of items across categories including kids’ products, jewelry, beauty, electronics, office supplies, dresses, kitchenware, and gardening tools.
The “Haul” section also includes a special tab for “Crazy low” deals, featuring items typically priced between $5 and $10. To commemorate the launch of this beta feature, Amazon is currently offering a limited-time promotion that provides customers with 40 percent off on all purchases, with the discount automatically applied at checkout.
While the appeal of the “Haul” section lies in its affordability, there is a notable caveat: deliveries are expected to take approximately 2-3 weeks. Customers can enjoy free delivery on orders exceeding $35, making it a more attractive option for those willing to wait.
This initiative reflects Amazon’s ongoing strategy to cater to budget-conscious consumers, particularly during economic times when many shoppers are looking to save. Although the “Haul” section may not offer premium brand items, it presents a viable alternative for individuals seeking to cut back on expenses without sacrificing variety.
The rollout of the Amazon Haul beta is currently underway across Canada, with some users potentially experiencing a wait as the feature becomes available in their areas. Customers can access the “Haul” section by locating it in the app’s main menu or by entering “Haul” into the search bar.
In summary, Amazon’s latest addition aims to provide an accessible shopping experience for those looking to make cost-effective purchases, reinforcing the company’s commitment to meeting consumer needs in a competitive marketplace.
