The Prince Albert Science Centre is gearing up for Halloween by hosting a series of interactive slime-making sessions. From October 18 to October 26, families can participate in the slime lab, where they will have the opportunity to create and personalize their own slime. The sessions will run daily from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., and each container of slime is available for just $10.

This initiative is designed to offer a fun and educational experience for children and their parents. Attendees can explore the science behind slime while enjoying a hands-on activity that encourages creativity. During the event, participants will be able to choose from a variety of colors and decorations for their slime, making it a perfect Halloween-themed activity.

On October 21, paNOW’s Nigel Maxwell visited the science centre to speak with Sandra Williams, Chair of the Prince Albert Science Centre. Williams emphasized the importance of engaging children in science through enjoyable activities. “We want to make science accessible and fun for everyone, especially during this festive time of year,” she stated.

The slime lab is just one of many programs the Prince Albert Science Centre offers to stimulate interest in science among young learners. The centre regularly hosts interactive workshops and exhibitions that cater to a wide range of interests, aiming to foster a love of science in the community.

With Halloween approaching, the slime lab promises to be a hit for families looking for engaging ways to celebrate. Participants are encouraged to arrive early, as the sessions may reach capacity quickly. The Prince Albert Science Centre is located in the heart of the city, making it an easily accessible destination for local families.

For those interested in attending, the slime lab is an excellent way to combine creativity with science, providing a memorable experience in the lead-up to Halloween.
