New Resort-Style Villas Launch at Pheasant Glen Golf Course

Developer Rob McGorman has launched a new residential project at the prestigious Pheasant Glen Golf Resort in Qualicum Beach, Vancouver Island. The Villas are designed to seamlessly blend into their natural surroundings, maintaining the area’s lush greenery and stunning mountain views. Prospective homebuyers can rest assured that the existing trees will be preserved, a key concern for many.
The Villas mark the first residential development within the long-established golf resort, which is known for its championship course. McGorman, founder and owner of Bayshore Construction Inc., emphasized the project’s commitment to environmental integration. “Every villa backs onto a forest,” he stated, highlighting the project’s vision of creating a community that respects its natural landscape.
Incorporating both two-bedroom and three-bedroom options, the homes range from 1,788 to 2,200 square feet. The architectural style reflects a modern West Coast aesthetic, with muted earthy tones and an emphasis on outdoor living. Features include large sliding glass doors that invite natural light and provide access to expansive outdoor spaces.
Expanding Amenities and Community Features
In addition to the Villas, Pheasant Glen is planning to enhance its amenities with the introduction of tennis and pickleball courts, a gym, and a new clubhouse featuring a restaurant. Future developments also include low-rise condominiums, which will be strategically separated from the Villas by a tree buffer to maintain privacy and tranquility.
Residents of the Villas will have the option to access these amenities, as well as a unique opportunity to join the golf club with an initiation fee waiver, placing them at the top of the waiting list for membership. This initiative is aimed at fostering a vibrant community for both current and future residents.
Gerry Scott, a prospective buyer, expressed his excitement about the Villas, which he believes offer the perfect blend of recreational opportunities and relaxation. After a lengthy absence from the island, Scott and his wife, Melissa Scott, decided to make Qualicum Beach their primary residence. They chose to purchase their home sight unseen after engaging in discussions with McGorman and Nicole Proch, head of sales and marketing.
“Our foundation has been laid, and we expect to move in by March 2026,” Scott shared. The couple selected the Brandon model, making personalized adjustments to the exterior to ensure their home stands out within the development. They have also opted for upgraded landscaping, following the model home’s design.
Modern Design Meets Customization
The interior design of the Villas is a collaboration between C.A. Design and Bayshore’s in-house team, led by designer Jordan Labas. Buyers have the option to choose from three distinct color palettes, ensuring a personalized touch to their new homes. Standard features include quartz countertops, engineered hardwood floors, and gas fireplaces, all designed to enhance the modern living experience.
McGorman noted that they often accommodate specific buyer requests, allowing for modifications such as window placements or interior finishes. As the Scotts finalize their design choices, they are excited about the potential of their new home, particularly its proximity to outdoor activities like mountain biking and golfing, which Scott has longed for since childhood.
With prices starting at $1,300,000, the Villas at Pheasant Glen promise to offer a unique blend of luxury and lifestyle in a picturesque setting. As construction progresses, the project is poised to attract those seeking a resort-style living experience in one of Vancouver Island’s most desirable locations.
For more information, interested buyers can visit the sales centre at 507 Hole-in-One Drive, Qualicum Beach, open daily from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., or contact the sales team at 250-248-7495.
