A free Halloween costume swap will take place on October 4, 2023, at the James L. McIntyre Centennial Library in Sault Ste. Marie. The event, designed to promote sustainability and community engagement, will run from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the library’s Program Room.

Participants are encouraged to donate costumes for all ages. These can be dropped off at the children’s department leading up to the event. The costume swap aims to provide families with an opportunity to find new outfits for Halloween while also giving previously used costumes a second life.

For those interested in more information about the event, inquiries can be directed to the library at 705-759-5241. This initiative not only fosters community spirit but also helps reduce waste during the festive season.
