Prince Albert Science Centre Hosts Spooky Slime Lab for Families

As Halloween approaches, the Prince Albert Science Centre is inviting families to enjoy a unique and engaging experience with their upcoming slime lab. Scheduled for October 18, 19, 25, and 26, the event will take place from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. each day, allowing children and parents alike to create and decorate their own slime.
The slime lab promises to be a delightful blend of science and creativity, with each container available for just $10. Participants will have the opportunity to experiment with various colors and textures, making this event not only fun but also educational. This initiative aims to inspire a love for science through hands-on activities that captivate young minds.
During a recent visit, paNOW reporter Nigel Maxwell spoke with Sandra Williams, Chair of the Prince Albert Science Centre. Williams emphasized the importance of interactive learning, stating, “Our slime lab is designed to engage children in a fun way while teaching them basic scientific principles.”
This event is particularly timely, as it taps into the excitement surrounding Halloween, making it a perfect weekend activity for families looking for festive fun. The slime lab not only provides entertainment but also encourages creativity, as children can personalize their creations.
The Prince Albert Science Centre is known for its commitment to science education and community engagement. Events like the slime lab enhance the centre’s reputation as a family-friendly destination, especially during the holiday season.
As the date draws closer, families are encouraged to mark their calendars and prepare for a gooey, educational experience that promises to be both enjoyable and informative.
