Prince Albert Science Centre Hosts Slime Lab for Halloween Fun
The Prince Albert Science Centre is preparing for Halloween with a slime lab event that promises both fun and creativity for families. On October 18, 19, 25, and 26, from 12:00 to 16:00, children and parents can participate in crafting their own slime for just $10 per container. This initiative aims to provide a hands-on, entertaining experience while celebrating the festive season.
The slime lab is designed to engage children in a fun and educational activity that encourages creativity and experimentation. Participants will have the opportunity to not only create but also decorate their slime, offering a personal touch to their creations. The event is part of the Science Centre’s commitment to making science interactive and enjoyable for all ages.
Sandra Williams, Chair of the Prince Albert Science Centre, expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming event. She highlighted the importance of such activities in fostering a love for science and creativity among young visitors. “We want to provide an engaging environment where children can explore scientific concepts in a fun way,” Williams stated.
This slime lab event is expected to attract many visitors and contribute to the community’s festive spirit as Halloween approaches. It offers a unique opportunity for families to bond over a creative project while also learning about the science behind slime.
For those interested in joining the slime-making fun, the Prince Albert Science Centre is located in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. The event is suitable for children of all ages, making it a great outing for families looking to celebrate the Halloween season in a memorable way.
