IsoEnergy Ltd. and Purepoint Uranium Group have announced significant findings from the summer drill program at their joint venture Dorado project in Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin. The companies reported partial assay results that highlight a notable discovery of high-grade uranium.

Drill hole PG25-07A revealed a striking 8.1% U3O8 over a 0.4-metre interval within a broader 2.1-metre section averaging 1.6% U3O8. Additionally, the hole provided another 4.9 metres at 0.52% U3O8, which included a section grading 2.9% U3O8. These results are the most substantial assay intervals reported to date from the Nova discovery zone, reinforcing the potential of this newly identified mineralized system.

Chris Frostad, President and CEO of Purepoint Uranium, remarked on the significance of the results: “Eight percent uranium is an excellent grade from the centre of the very strong radioactive interval drilled by hole 7A. These assays reinforce the strength of this newly discovered system and provide a solid anchor point as we continue to test the mineralized structure in all directions.”

Drilling Progress and Challenges

The summer drill program saw the completion of 5,030 metres across 11 holes. However, wildfires in the region curtailed the planned 5,400-metre program. The team prioritized select samples from PG25-07A for expedited assay to confirm uranium grades and mineral composition, while awaiting full assay results from additional holes.

Further drilling at the Serin and Turaco targets within the Dorado project yielded valuable data for calibrating the project’s geophysical models. Due to ongoing wildfire risks in northern Saskatchewan, the team decided to defer the Celeste project drill program, ensuring safety in the field.

The companies plan to conduct follow-up drilling programs in early 2026, contingent on final assay results and geological interpretation. Though the summer program faced challenges, the positive results from the Dorado project provide a promising outlook for future exploration efforts.
