Shop for a Cause at Winnipeg’s Semi-Annual Women’s Clothing Sale
The upcoming Semi-Annual Women’s Clothing Sale and Fundraiser will take place on October 3, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM in Winnipeg. This event, organized by local volunteers, aims to support the initiatives of both The Clothes Closet and Dress for Success Winnipeg. Proceeds generated from the sale will directly benefit these community programs, which have been operational since 1998.
The clothing sale features a range of new and gently used women’s clothing items, all priced at $5.00 each. A special offer allows shoppers to buy four items and receive an additional item free. The event is exclusively for women and does not have an admission fee, making it accessible to all who wish to participate.
Support Local Initiatives Through Shopping
The Semi-Annual Sale not only offers a chance to refresh wardrobes but also serves as a critical funding source for volunteer-driven programs in the area. Both The Clothes Closet and Dress for Success Winnipeg focus on empowering women by providing them with necessary resources, including professional attire and support services.
By participating in this sale, attendees contribute to a larger effort of community support and empowerment. The funds raised will help sustain various programs aimed at enhancing the lives of women in Winnipeg, aligning with the mission of both organizations.
Join the Community Spirit
The event reflects a strong community spirit and the impact of collective efforts. Shoppers can expect a vibrant atmosphere where they can connect with others while supporting a good cause. It represents an opportunity for women in Winnipeg to not only save on clothing but also to invest in their community.
This Semi-Annual Women’s Clothing Sale is a reminder of how local initiatives can create positive change. Mark your calendars for October 3rd and prepare to shop for a cause.
