Charges Filed in Murder Case of Edi Bogere After Six Years

The Integrated Homicides Investigation Team announced that Alan Mohammed Taheri, a 31-year-old resident of Port Coquitlam, was arrested on December 22, 2025.

Bogere’s body was found on January 11, 2020, in a vacant forested area, leading authorities to rule his death as suspicious. He was last seen leaving his home in Coquitlam on the evening of December 27, 2019. Following a thorough investigation, prosecutors have approved charges against Taheri, including one count of second-degree murder using a firearm and one count of indignity to human remains.
