Wholesome Snack 2025 Set to Premiere on December 9
Wholesome Games has officially announced the premiere date for Wholesome Snack 2025, set to take place on December 9, 2025, at 12 PM PT / 3 PM ET. The event will be livestreamed on both Twitch and YouTube in collaboration with The Game Awards. This annual showcase aims to celebrate the heartwarming side of gaming, featuring over 20 cozy and emotionally resonant titles from independent creators worldwide.
Hosted by Jenny Windom, the event promises an exciting collection of world premieres and exclusive announcements. Viewers can anticipate delightful surprises that highlight games designed to inspire optimism, reflection, and joy. The showcase will include familiar voices from the Wholesome community alongside new content creators, all contributing to a celebration of creativity and comfort in gaming.
This year, Wholesome Snack continues to serve as a smaller, focused counterpart to the larger Wholesome Direct showcase, which celebrated its fifth anniversary earlier this year. Matthew Taylor, a partner at Wholesome Games, expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming event, stating, “It was a thrill to celebrate five years of Wholesome Direct in June, and now we’re closing out this special year with our best Wholesome Snack yet.”
For those tuning in for the first time, viewers can expect a fast-paced, approximately 30-minute showcase, featuring a carefully curated selection of games with exclusive content prepared specifically for Wholesome Snack. As the year comes to a close, Wholesome Games invites audiences to unwind, discover uplifting stories, and connect with a global community that celebrates games crafted with care and positivity.
The Wholesome Snack 2025 event promises to be an engaging experience for both seasoned fans and newcomers alike, highlighting the unique stories and heartfelt gameplay that define the indie gaming landscape. As anticipation builds, the event is set to close out a remarkable year for Wholesome Games and its community.
