Dispatch Unveils Frame Rate and Resolution for Switch Platforms
Dispatch is set to launch on the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 on January 28, 2026, and new performance details have been confirmed. Following its recent announcement, AdHoc Studio has provided insights into the game’s frame rate and resolution for both systems, allowing players to understand what to expect upon release.
Performance Specifications for Each Console
On the Switch 2, Dispatch will run at an impressive 60 frames per second (fps) with a resolution of 1440p. This enhanced performance promises smoother gameplay and sharper visuals, particularly during action-packed sequences. Players who buy the game for the original Switch will receive an upgrade to this version free of charge, ensuring a seamless transition to the new hardware.
In contrast, the original Nintendo Switch version will target 30fps and a resolution of 720p. While this is a modest setup, it still provides a stable gaming experience that aligns well with the console’s capabilities. Specific details regarding performance differences between handheld and docked modes for either console have yet to be disclosed by Nintendo.
Pricing and Availability
Dispatch will retail for $29.99, or the regional equivalent, with a limited-time pre-order discount of 10%, bringing the price down to $26.99. This pricing strategy aims to attract early adopters and build excitement ahead of the launch.
With a unique blend of superhero themes and comedy, Dispatch offers a lighthearted approach to the genre, emphasizing character-driven storytelling and playful action. In addition to its upcoming console release, the game is also available on PC via Steam and PlayStation 5.
For those interested in a preview of the gameplay, an official review of the first two episodes is available, providing insights into what players can expect from this engaging title.
As the launch date approaches, anticipation continues to grow among fans eager to explore the vibrant world of Dispatch on their chosen platform.
