Set against the backdrop of the ancient Silk Road, the game invites players to explore the lost kingdom of Loulan, a land shrouded in mystery and rich historical significance. Players will take on the role of a skeletal warrior known as the Cursed Sand, who is on a tragic quest to find his lost princess while unraveling the secrets of his past.

The narrative of Loulan draws inspiration from the archaeological discovery of the “Xiaohe Princess.” This blend of ancient history and myth creates a haunting adventure, as players navigate the emotional depths of the protagonist’s journey.

A Unique Dual-Form Combat System

The Cursed Sand embodies a unique dual-form warrior capable of shifting between life and decay. In his Sand Form, golden grains swirl around him, providing grace and agility in combat. Developed by a dedicated 16-member team, Loulan: The Cursed Sand is part of Sony Interactive Entertainment’s China Hero Project.
