Cross Blitz Set for Full Release on November 24, 2023
Publisher The Arcade Crew and developer Tako Boy Studios have announced that their RPG deckbuilder, Cross Blitz, will officially launch its 1.0 version on November 24, 2023. Priced at $22.99 on Steam, this release marks the conclusion of its Early Access phase, which began in November 2023. Players can expect a refined gaming experience featuring expanded characters, cards, and challenges.
The newly released trailer provides an exciting preview of the adventures awaiting players at launch. Cross Blitz merges heartfelt storytelling with strategic turn-based combat, inviting players to navigate a world filled with tension and treasure. The Fables story mode allows players to guide a team of five protagonists, including Seto, a small but determined martial artist on a quest to find his master, and Quill, a clever thief engaged in high-stakes heists to support his family and promote justice in his community.
Exploration and Strategy Take Center Stage
Exploration plays a significant role in Cross Blitz, offering players a diverse array of distinct locations and vibrant characters to discover. As they progress, players can unlock new cards, abilities, and relics, using these tools to create customized decks that align with their unique playstyles. In this game, every decision holds weight, from crafting the ultimate deck to selecting the right allies for battle.
For those seeking an additional challenge, the Tusk Tales roguelite mode introduces unpredictable encounters and ever-changing landscapes within Cross Blitz. Success in this mode requires players to be strategically adaptable, as enemies become increasingly formidable with each confrontation. Players can equip powerful trinkets, recruit mercenaries, and refine their decks to confront escalating threats effectively.
With its combination of engaging narrative and tactical gameplay, Cross Blitz promises to deliver an immersive experience. As players embark on their journey, they will have the opportunity to chart their own course through a world rich in adventure and strategy.
