Montreal’s Caring for Kids Radiothon Marks 22 Years of Support
The Caring for Kids Radiothon returns for its 22nd year on March 14, 2024, offering individuals the opportunity to positively impact young patients at the Montreal Children’s Hospital. The event showcases personal stories from young patients and their families, highlighting how the exceptional care provided by the hospital’s dedicated staff has transformed their lives.
Since its inception in 2004, the radiothon has successfully raised over $29 million to address the hospital’s most pressing needs. This year’s fundraiser will be broadcast live from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. across multiple platforms including CJAD 800, 95.9 Virgin Radio, and CHOM 97.7.
Many community members and businesses rally around this initiative, emphasizing the critical importance of support for healthcare services aimed at children. The funds raised during the event directly contribute to enhancing patient care, improving facilities, and funding vital programs that benefit young patients and their families.
Listeners are encouraged to engage with the event, whether by tuning in to the broadcast or by making donations to support the cause. Contributions can be made online, providing an accessible way for people to support the Montreal Children’s Hospital and its mission of delivering high-quality healthcare to children in need.
The radiothon not only serves as a fundraiser but also as a platform for raising awareness about the challenges faced by young patients and their families. Attendees can expect emotional stories that speak to resilience and hope, illustrating the profound impact of community support.
With the ongoing commitment from the public and sponsors, the Caring for Kids Radiothon continues to be a beacon of hope and courage for many families in Montreal. As the event unfolds this year, the community’s dedication to improving the lives of children at the hospital remains steadfast.
